Steam Deck with SteamDeckGyroDSU

Learn how to enable Gyro on the Steam Deck using SteamDeckGyroDSU via the DSU protocol.

Prerequisites: RetroDECK Steam Deck Controller Layout

Ensure that RetroDECK: Steam Deck Controller Layout is installed and enabled.

Installing SteamDeckGyroDSU

  1. Visit the SteamDeckGyroDSU: Releases.
  2. Download the latest release and run the installer.

This will install SteamDeckGyroDSU and create a folder under $HOME/sdgyrodsu/ (usually /home/deck/sdgyrodsu, unless the Deck profile has been renamed).

Important Files in the Installation Folder

  • update.sh - For updating SteamDeckGyroDSU.
  • uninstall.sh - For uninstalling SteamDeckGyroDSU.
